PASADA,
as a Sub-grantee to PACT-Tanzania, is implementing the ACHIEVE project at the
community level. In FY22, PASADA operated in two regions that are Pwani and
Dar-es-Salaam and covered eight councils with a total of 140 wards. In thePwani
region, PASADA operated inMkuranga DC, Chalinze DC, and Kibaha TC, and in
Dar-es-Salaam region,it operatedin Kinondoni MC, Ubungo MC, Ilala MC, Temeke
MC, and Kigamboni MC. In FY22, PASADA worked with a total of 3,144 community volunteers to provide
services to 68,899 OVC within the
ACHIEVE project.
The Adolescents and Children HIV Incidence Reduction,
Empowerment, and Virus Elimination project (ACHIEVE), is a five-year global
effort (2019 – 2024) to reach and sustain HIV epidemic control among
pregnant, and breastfeeding women, adolescents, infants, and children.
The project is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)
and implemented by a Pact-led consortium of top global HIV/AIDS partners,
including Jhpiego, Palladium, No Means No Worldwide, and WI-HER.
